Aldier Studio

The design and build studio of Aldier

Aldier Studio designs and builds identities, digital products, films and physical spaces. Its designers, engineers, film-makers and architects join engagements from the first day, alongside the firm's strategists.

Our perspective

Advice creates value when it is built. By bringing the makers into the room where decisions are taken, the Studio carries an engagement from the first sketch to the finished product without loss in translation.

Disciplines

What the Studio makes

Select a discipline to learn more.

A printer's loupe resting on colour proofs

Identities that hold across every channel.

Names, voices, visual systems and guidelines, specified down to the colour values and type sizes, so that an institution looks and sounds like itself in every place it appears.

How the Studio works

From research to launch

Every Studio project follows four stages, whatever is being made.

  1. Observe

Research with the people who will use the product or service: interviews, observation, analytics and complaints data.

  2. Prototype

Ideas made tangible early, in paper, code, film or foam board, and tested before money is committed.

  3. Make

Production to a written standard, with accessibility, security and brand checks built into the work.

  4. Measure

After launch, the Studio measures use against its objectives and improves what falls short.
